Contributing

If you want to help improve this wiki keep the following in mind.

Overall design principles

• Keep it simple. When there are multiple ways to organize information, try the more compact and easier to manage approach first and expand later when really necessary.

• Respect the reader's time. Present the most important information in a concise manner as quickly as possible. Any additional details for edge cases can be explained in follow up paragraphs.

• Please the eye. Include images when appropriate and use paragraphs to split the content into logical sections. Images should not be bigger than around 100kb if possible to ensure pages still load smoothly on slower connections.

• Don't copy and paste. Especially not content that could change. If information is already available on another page or website link to that instead. The wiki will be easier to manage when there is less content needing manual updates.
