Refers to the standard values of a card before any later modifications.
Base cost just refers to its mana cost and ignores any other modifications.
Cards can be permanently modified in-game by other card effects, e.g. increasing their health or reducing their mana cost. A base copy of a card refers to its standard values as it was put into the deck, without any stats adjustments or newly applied keywords.
When dealt to characters reduces their health by the specified amount.
The Spell boost keyword can increase the amount of damage dealt by spells only. Keywords like Protected or Ward can prevent damage one time. Armor can reduce damage.

Moves affected card from the board to the void.
The creature gets "killed", so it triggers Afterlife effects.
A unique resource for each player roughly comparable to mana. Players start each match with 0 favor.
Normally you gain 3 favor every time you:
Attack an enemy god with a creature
Destroy an enemy creature with a spell or effect
Destroy an enemy creature with a friendly creature which survives that attack
The exception to that rule is in the early game where in turn 1 you only receive 1 favor, and in turn 2 only 2 favor.
Favor is spent primarily in the Sanctum to receive cards for this match only.
But there are some cards that trigger powerful effects when you have enough favor.
Some cards even let you steal favor from your opponent.
An avatar representing your player. Every god starts with 30 health.
If your opponent's god is reduced to 0 health you win the game.
A god can only attack if it has a relic equipped.
Every god represents one domain.
Every god can choose from 3 different god powers at the start of a match.

Allows players to spend favor to buy 1 out of 3 cards currently offered in the Sanctum. There 20 different cards available in total which are always the same every game, but they are randomized in a particular way.
There are 5 different "decks" each with 4 particular cards. At the start of the game each deck is shuffled and then 3 decks are picked to start with. The top card of each of those 3 decks is revealed, these 3 cards make up the current Sanctum.
Once one card is purchased by a player, at the end of their turn, a random card from one of the 2 remaining decks will replace its spot in the Sanctum.

Placing a creature onto the board which was not directly played from hand, bypassing its mana cost, will not trigger effects like Roar, Blessed or Tempt Fate.
Some card effects allow you to target specific other cards, which is typically advantageous, unless the desired card can't be targeted through some other effect.
But some cards apply their effect to a random target or even multiple targets at once which allows you to bypass not being targetable.
Replaces a creature with another creature as specified.
The original creature you transformed will not be moved to its controller's void. Afterlife effects of the originally transformed creature will not trigger.
Cards, unless obliterated, are located in one of the following zones:
You have to start each game with exactly 30 cards in your deck. You draw one new card from your deck at the beginning of each turn.
You can have up to 9 cards in your hand. Any more cards about to be drawn in excess of 9 will be obliterated. You can not draw a card from the Sanctum as long as you have 9 cards in your hand.
When you play a creature or relic it lives in this zone.
There can be a maximum of 6 creatures on each side of the board. You can't play new creatures if your side is full. If a card triggers summoning a new creature on your side the summoning gets ignored as there is no space left to place the new creature.
